Thiazide Diuretics
- Inhibits Na+ absorption at distal convoluted tubule
MRA (mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists)
- spironolactone, eplerenone
- block effects of aldosterone in distal tubules
Na+/K+ exchange inhibitors
- triamterene, amiloride
- inhibit Na+/K+ exchange in collecting duct, distal tubule – secreted into lumen by proximal tubule cells
